NEW PUBLICATION: A new article titled “A novel activity space approach to discover displacement patterns via mobile phone data: an analysis of the 2023 Türkiye–Syria earthquakes”
A new article co-authored by Prof. Dr. Didem Danış from our Department of Sociology, titled “A novel activity space approach to discover displacement patterns via mobile phone data: an analysis of the 2023 Türkiye–Syria earthquakes”, has been published in EPJ Data Science.
This interdisciplinary study, conducted through collaboration between engineers and social scientists, aims to examine mobility and displacement patterns following the 2023 Türkiye–Syria earthquakes.
The research team also includes Dr. Özge Bilgili, a graduate of our department and currently an Assistant Professor at Utrecht University’s Department of Sociology.
