EURETES Workshop Series: Gender and Situated Knowledges
As part of the EURETES program “Connections and Mobilities in the Mediterranean”, the CETOBaC (EHESS) and the Department of Sociology at Galatasaray University are organizing a methodological workshop series for MA and PhD students.
Jointly coordinated by Lucie Drechselová (CETOBaC) and Buket Türkmen (Galatasaray University), this workshop series aims to foster critical reflection on gender-related research and to rethink it through the framework of situated knowledges.
By engaging with diverse studies on gender, the workshops will articulate feminist epistemology with theories of researcher positionality and the unequal dynamics of knowledge production and circulation within scientific spaces.
